Reading (Ordered by reading time: tweets first, books last, and blog posts and articles in between)

1. Asset Manager BS Decoded. A fun (and eerily truthful) perspective from a CIO on the spin employed by asset managers.

2. ESG Tsunami. The ESG tsunami is upon us and there is no stopping it.  Social Capital founder Chamath Palihapitiya adds a wrinkle in this tweet storm calling on venture GPs to use an ESG lens in selecting their LPs.

3. James Clear’s Annual Letter. A master of creating good habits, James walks through an assessment of his own year – what went well, what didn’t, and what he learned. It is simple, forthright, and revealing of what matters most to him.

4. Inside the Yale Endowment. Charley Ellis long held a front row seat to Yale’s investing on its Investment Committee. He explains some of what is so special and unique about Yale’s investment program.

5. Dangers of Private Credit, Dan Rasmussen adds private credit to the list of counter-trend risks he sees in markets.

BONUS.  Parenting Teenagers. Lisa Damour describes how to listen and communicate with your teens.  If you can do that, you can listen and communicate with anyone!.  She is a brilliant psychologist, author of two best-sellers on parenting teenage girls, Untangled and Under Pressure, and writes a weekly parenting column for the New York Times.
